Encodes a string.

Syntax

@Password( string )

Parameters

string

Text or text list. The string that you want encoded.

encodedString

Text or text list. The encoded string.

@Password is especially useful in an input translation formula to protect a user's password from being seen by others.

Nota There is no way to decode the original string once it has been encoded by @Password.

Nota Strings that begin with an open parenthesis "(" are not encoded.
